| I always know when I'm writing whether
it's a poem or a song.
Poetry is a great release for me as there
are no rules and the language I can use is more diverse than
if I'm writing a song. I see my poetry as looking down on a
shattered mirror and seeing oblique reflections in each piece.
I also enjoy not being constrained by standard song structures
and I can be a bit more experimental with the subject matter. |
